I’m happy with my order. The stuff is definitely good, no question about it. It did take a little longer than I expected to arrive, but overall I’d still say it was totally worth it

"Nice decor, but I kind of regret paying that much"
I found a few cabin decor pieces on Black Forest Decor that I really liked, and they looked great at first. But after ordering, I couldn’t help feeling like I overpaid. Some of the items were really similar to things I later saw for less on other sites, and the shipping cost made the total sting even more. The quality wasn’t terrible or anything, just not as nice as I expected for the price. I kind of wish I had shopped around more before buying. I probably wouldn’t order again unless there was a really good sale.

"Maybe I caught it at the wrong time"
I was let down when it showed up. It looks really nice online, but in person it just felt a lot cheaper and flimsier than I expected. The finish was uneven in a few spots too, which made it feel kind of rushed. Maybe I just ordered at a bad time or got one from a not-so-great batch, but for the price I expected better. I probably wouldn’t buy it again

"Size info was confusing and didn’t match my expectations"
I ordered a wall decor piece thinking it would fit the space I measured out, but when it showed up it was noticeably smaller than I expected. The item itself looked fine, but the sizing on the site felt unclear, and I got inconsistent answers when trying to figure out the actual dimensions, which was frustrating. Shipping was fine, but overall I’m disappointed because it didn’t work for the spot I bought it for.

"My order showed up mixed up"
I ordered two cabin curtain panels, but what showed up was one panel and another one in a totally different size. Shipping was fine, so no complaints there, but the order itself was definitely not right. Customer service did get back to me, which I appreciate, but now I’m stuck waiting all over again for the correct panels. Not the end of the world, just annoying.

"I ordered a wall sign from Black..."
I ordered a wall sign from Black Forest Decor and it showed up in good shape overall. The packing was decent, and thankfully nothing was broken, which I was definitely worried about.

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because there was a small scuff on one corner. It wasn’t a huge deal, so I kept it, but I did notice it riiight away...

"Tracking updates came way too late"
The order showed up in good shape, so no issue there, but the tracking was annoying. Updates seemed to come after they were actually useful, and I kept checking my email trying to figure out where the package was. The timing on the updates was just bad, and it would’ve been a lot less frustrating if the tracking had been clearer.

"Decent for gifts, but I’m a little wary"
I’ve found some good gift ideas here, and it’s nice when I need something quick. But a few items seem kind of overpriced, and that always makes me nervous that I’m getting fooled into paying more than I should. It’s okay overall, just not always my style

I tried to exchange an item and it turned into way more of a hassle than I expected. I kept waiting around just to get a straight answer from customer service

The whole process felt confusing, and I ended up asking the same questions more than once because nothing was really clear. It just didn’t feel like anyone was actually helping
In the end, it still didn’t get handled the way I thought it would. For what I paid, an exchange really should not be this frustrating, so I don’t think I’d order again

"nice stuff, just a little pricey"
i really like the rustic style and a few pieces caught my eye right away. everything looks nice, but the prices felt a bit high for what you’re getting. shipping ended up being more than i expected too, so that made it feel less worth it. overall, not a bad experience, i just wish the value was a little better

"Decent sign, but the packaging was a letdown"
I ordered a wall sign and the actual item looked nice, but the packaging was disappointing. It showed up in a thin box with barely any padding, and one corner was crushed by the time it got to me.

Nothing was completely broken, but there were some small scuffs, and it just felt like not much care went into shipping it. For what I paid in shipping, I expected better, and it’s frustrating when the goalposts keep moving on what “properly packed” is supposed to mean

I ended up having to cancel, which was frustrating, but the refund showed up in my account within two days. i was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was. No hassle at all, even if the whole situation wasn’t ideal.

I really liked the overall cabin look, and a few of the pieces definitely have that rustic feel I was hoping for. That said, some items looked more mass-produced in person than I expected, so they didn’t feel quite as authentic as the photos made them seem. Shipping was fine, nothing major to complain about there. I’d probably still look around the shop again, but if future orders have the same not-so-authentic feel, I may end up shopping elsewhere. Next time I’ll definitely be checking the photos and details more carefully
